From time to time we will post animals that are not available for adoption, but still require lots of love and care. We will post these kiddos in case you want to contribute to their support.
Lulu is battling cancer.
Dear Lulu had her heart broken when her family abandoned her at a high-kill shelter, and she is still a sad soul waiting for someone she can devote herself to. She needs to be an only furchild in her home and would be perfect for a senior home that wants a loving older dog to join their family.
Moxie is battling seizures.
Moxie came to us as a pup with a busted leg and in generally poor health. Moxie is on medication and has her seizures mostly under control, but occasionally one will break through. But Moxie is a happy dog and loves playing with her pals and cuddling on the couch with her people.
Nebo had a hard beginning...
Nebo came to us from a neighbor. They shared that he had been kicked in the head by a horse, but by the time we rescued him, he was healthy, just goofy. Nebo has been with us for over 10 years. Nebo struggles with tumorous growths (we’ve had several removed), but still loves hanging out and keeping an eye on the yard.
